Furniture and Fixtures & Technical and Scientific Equipment for the Rehabilitation of the Metropolitan Theater 10.27.2009
The NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS (NCCA) invites prospective bidders to apply for eligibility and to bid for the “Procurement of the furniture and Fixtures & Technical and Scientific Equipment for the Rehabilitation of the Metropolitan Theater”. with an approved budget for the contract (ABC) of Fifty Million Pesos Only (PhP 50,000,000.00) inclusive of VAT. Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar projects within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted. Prospective bidders are advised to secure their bid documents on October 27 until November 03, 2009, from the BAC Secretary at Room 2-D, 2/F NCCA Building, 633 General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila after payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty thousand Pesos (P 50,000.00), per R.A. 9184, Section 17.5, Rule VI. A Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on November 03, 2009, 10:00 a.m., Room D,5th Floor, NCCA Building, to clarify the specification requirements of the subject bidding, terms and conditions and other concerns Deadline for submission of sealed bids which shall be in two separate envelopes; (1) Technical Proposal; and the Envelope (2) Financial Proposal shall be on November 16, 2009 at 12:00 Noon to Gaydeen Bernabe-Vergara, BAC Secretary at Room 2E, 2/F NCCA Bldg., 633 General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila. The envelopes shall be marked: “DO NOT OPEN” and shall indicate the bidder’s company name and title of the subject bidding. Opening of bids will follow immediately at 2:00 pm, November 16, 2009, Room 5D 5/F NCCA Bldg. Bidders are strongly advised to adhere to the schedules stated herewith. All bids shall be addressed to: Ms. Marichu G. Tellano Chairperson, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) 633 Gen. Luna Street, Intramuros, Manila Attention: Gaydeen Bernabe-Vergara Secretary, NCCA-BAC All particulars relative to Eligibility, Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Bid Evaluation and Award of Contract shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184. The NCCA assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify the bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation of the bid.
