The NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS (NCCA) invites prospective bidders to apply for eligibility and to bid for the procurement of Network Switches with an approved budget for the contract (ABC) of Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos Only (P 950,000.00) inclusive of VAT. Prospective bidders are advised to secure their bid documents starting December 10, 2008 from the BAC Secretary after payment of a non-refundable fee of Nine Hundred Fifty Pesos (P950.00) per R.A. 9184, Section 17.5, Rule VI. Only those who secured their bid documents are allowed to join the bidding. A pre-bid conference is scheduled at 9:30 am on December 18, 2008, Room 5D 5/F NCCA Bldg. Deadline for submission of sealed bids which shall be in three separate envelopes; 1) Eligibility Requirements; 2) Technical Proposal; and the 3) Financial Proposal shall be on January 9, 2009 at 9:00 am to Mr. Dante G. Fornesa, Jr., BAC Secretary at Room 2E, 2/F NCCA Bldg., 633 General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila. The envelopes shall be marked: “DO NOT OPEN” and shall indicate the bidder’s company name and title of the subject bidding. Opening of bids will follow immediately at 10:00 am January 9, 2009, Room 5D 5/F NCCA Bldg. Bidders are strongly advised to adhere to the schedules stated herewith. All bids shall be addressed to: Ms. Adelina Suemith Chairperson, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) 633 Gen. Luna Street, Intramuros, Manila Attention: Mr. Dante G. Fornesa, Jr. BAC Secretary All particulars relative to Eligibility, Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Bid Evaluation and Award of Contract shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184. The NCCA assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify the bidders for any expense incurred in the preparation of the bid.
