NCCA 25th Anniversary Culminates with a Concert @ CCP

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) closes its 25th anniversary celebration with a concert titled “Mga Kulturang Filipino… Buhay na Buhay” at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on June 26, 6pm. It will feature various performances from high-caliber musicians and artists in the country to highlight the eight (8) living Filipino cultures.

The anniversary concert will be directed by ace director Floy Quintos and performances from singer-songwriter Joey Ayala and musician Bayang Barrios will be expected. Also gracing the stage are the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Dance Group, the Philippine Opera Company, dance group Next to Innocence, mezzo soprano Clarissa Ocampo and rap performer Haydee Bellen. It will be hosted by NCCA Arts Ambassador Boy Abunda and Venus Raj, the ambassador of Dayaw, the indigenous people’s festival of the NCCA.
